Shuttle Net

Integrated European network

Hupac’s network covers the entire continent with daily trains. Focal points are the economic areas in Germany, northern Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands. From there, dozens of trains connect peripheral and emerging markets such as Spain, France, Scandinavia, Poland, Switzerland, Austria, south-east Europe and Turkey.

Dedicated terminals

Our network is based on efficient terminals managed
or co-managed by Hupac. The main locations are north Italy, Antwerp, Rotterdam, Duisburg, Ludwigshafen, Singen and Warsaw/Brwinów. Terminal projects are located in Duisburg, Basel, Brescia, Milan and Piacenza.

Zhanna Kargl, new Head of business unit Shuttle Net North-East Europe

Hupac is pleased to inform that Zhanna Kargl has been appointed as the new responsible for the business unit Shuttle Net North-East Europe as of 1 September 2019. She will be responsible for developing the sales strategies and operations on the east-west axis between Belgium/Netherlands/West Germany and East Germany/Poland/Russia.

Zhanna Kargl will be in charge of strengthening our intermodal network in north-east Europe, identifying market opportunities and developing new projects together with customers and partners. In addition, she will engage in sales activities within the business unit Landbridge China.

Zhanna Kargl's experience in intermodal transport in east Europe, CIS Countries and China spans over a decade. She joins Hupac with a wealth of knowledge acquired as logistics consultant and in management positions at FELB (Far East Land Bridge) Austria and CEL Logistic Company GmbH.

Special thanks go to Silvio Ferrari, who managed the Shuttle Net North-East division on an interim basis for three years. During this period, Silvio Ferrari has introduced a new operating concept and stabilised punctuality and reliability of the traffic. Thanks to the improved quality, new logistic concepts have been developed and additional volumes acquired.

"Silvio has done important development work for the north-east traffic with the support of the teams headed by Denitsa Nikolova and Beata Mizeracka. He will now fully concentrate on his core activity as Production Director and implement new measures aimed at increasing the quality and efficiency of our network, also in view of the NEAT and the 4-meter-corridor via Gotthard", says Michail Stahlhut, CEO of Hupac Intermodal. "We are convinced that Zhanna is a great asset for the further development of intermodal transport on the east-west axis and we wish her an excellent integration and success within the Hupac team".
