Commitment to climate and environmental responsibility

As a pioneer in intermodal transport, Hupac actively contributes to reducing environmental impacts by shifting freights from road to rail. This modal shift is one of the most effective ways to lower greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption in the logistics sector.

In addition, we work to reduce noise emissions, optimise the use of resources such as water and chemicals and promote biodiversity. Minimising waste and ensuring the safe transport of goods are also central to our environmental responsibility.

Innovating our network
We are fully operational across Europe and up to China, adapting our network to volume fluctuations. All our connections are active. In April, we were even able to innovate our network with new connections and improved operational concepts:

  • Perpignan-Köln offering solutions for P400 trailers between Spain and Northern Europe
  • Geleen-Moerdijk, a daily feeder train allowing ongoing connections to UK and Italy
  • Xian-Warsaw with weekly connections between West China and Europe
  • Bremerhaven-Regensburg and Bremerhaven-Frankfurt, operated by ERS Railways, for maritime inland transportation
  • Stabio-Aarau with an improved operational concept
  • Antwerp/Zeebrugge-Istanbul via Ludwigshafen with three round-trips per week
