As a pioneer in intermodal transport, Hupac actively contributes to reducing environmental impacts by shifting freights from road to rail. This modal shift is one of the most effective ways to lower greenhouse gas emissions and energy consumption in the logistics sector.

 

In addition, we work to reduce noise emissions, optimise the use of resources such as water and chemicals and promote biodiversity. Minimising waste and ensuring the safe transport of goods are also central to our environmental responsibility.

We have reactivated the Köln-Perpignan P400 shuttle

After a forced stop due to the coronavirus crisis, Hupac reactivates the Köln-Perpignan shuttle with 2 roundtrips per week starting from Monday 27.4.2020. The circulation will be gradually increased to reach the planned frequency of 5 roundtrips per week.

Thanks to this new service, Hupac provides non-stop gateway connections from Cataluña in Spain and the Pyrenean region in France to Köln in the Ruhr area with further connections to Malmö in Sweden and and all relevant Scandinavian destinations.
