Strengthening of intermodal service between Cologne and Malmö

From 6 October 2025, Hupac will increase the frequency of its intermodal service between Cologne and Malmö from 4 to 5 weekly roundtrips.


This expansion will increase capacity and ensure greater operational flexibility and stability, as well as more reliable transit times along the Germany–Scandinavia corridor.

The Köln Nord Terminal will play a strategic role as a hub for Italy, with 11 weekly roundtrips connecting to Busto Arsizio.


This synergy strengthens the Italy–Scandinavia corridor, offering efficient and stable gateway solutions.
