Shuttle Net 2021: fit for P400 trailers via Switzerland

A new era for intermodal transport to/from Italy

After decades of works, effort and sacrifice, the 4-meter-corridor via Gotthard/ Switzerland finally goes into operation. As of January 2021, the entire Hupac network of intermodal trains via Switzerland will be fit for P400 trailers.

  • Busto Arsizio, Novara, Brescia, Stabio/Chiasso with P400 profile
  • In addition to existing connections, new intensified P400 services from/to Antwerp, Zeebrugge, Rotterdam, Hamburg, Taulov, Basel, Aarau
  • Further P400 connections from Novara to southern Italy as far as Pescara and Bari.
