Position paper: amendment of Directive 92/106/EEC

"Why combined transport operations need a flexible and EU-wide harmonised definition of the road leg": Kombiverkehr KG comments on the draft submitted by the EU Commission for the amendment of Directive 92/106/EEC.

The amendment of Directive 92/106/EEC concerning combined transport (CT) operations aims to promote the sustainability of goods transport in the EU. To this end, Member States shall provide incentives to stimulate the shift of road transport to CT services over rail and water.

The paper is available in English and German.
