Landslide in Gurtnellen on the Gotthard railway line

Chiasso, 6.6.2012  -  Due to a landslide occurred in Gurtnellen on 5.6.2012, the Gotthard railway line is interrupted.

Hupac is working on an alternative programme which foresees the restoration of the train circulation of all connections via alternative corridors, mainly via Lötschberg and Modane.

At present the duration of the line interruption is not known, but we can confirm that the circulation via Gotthard will not get back to normality for the next two weeks.

The following alternative traffic connections are fully operative:

Genk <=> Busto

Rotterdam <=> Novara

Duisburg/Köln HGK <=> Novara

Antwerp/Rotterdam/Taulov <=> Verona

The Hupac staff is at disposal of customers 24 h for detailed information on the single products.
