Hupac Shuttle Net: new products and services from 1.1.2025

Hupac starts the new year with new connections and improved services, designed to make intermodal operations even more efficient and sustainable.

Gent <=> Piadena

Hupac will activate a new shuttle train between the industrial areas of Gent in Belgium and Piadena, located south-east of Milan. The connection will start with a frequency of 3 roundtrips per week – more to be expected after the initial phase.

Zeebrugge CLdN <=> Piacenza

We are increasing the frequency of our intermodal connection from 3 to 4 roundtrips per week, strengthening the stability and transit time of the service. Good to know: the new Piacenza infrastructure will be operational early next year.

Busto Arsizio <=> Padova

A positive development also for this short distance shuttle train in north Italy, which enables efficient connections between northeast and northwest Italy and offers synergies with the entire Hupac network. The frequency will be brought from 4 to 6 roundtrips per week from 1.1.2025.

Malmö <=> Köln Nord

The new transhipment facility in Germany is the Köln Nord terminal. Thanks to this change, our customers enjoy a higher frequency of gateway connections to the south and therefore a better network stability.
