Hupac Group welcomes Bruno Fischer as Director Public Affairs & Communications

The Hupac Group is pleased to announce the appointment of Bruno Fischer as Director Public Affairs & Communications. Bruno Fischer (44) brings extensive experience in logistics and combined transport, having held senior leadership positions at SBB Cargo and within the Swiss rail freight sector.

 

He will join the company on 1 December 2025 and assume full responsibility for his role as of 1 January 2026.

 

In his new role, Bruno Fischer will lead the Group’s relations with political institutions, associations, and regulators across Europe; he will also oversee all internal and external communication activities. With his deep industry knowledge and commitment to advancing sustainable and competitive rail logistics, he will play a key role in strengthening Hupac’s dialogue with policymakers and stakeholders at national and international level.

 

The handover will be supported by Irmtraut Tonndorf, currently Director Communications & Marketing, who will ensure a smooth transition, and continue to follow selected projects, before retiring after a long and outstanding career.
