Hupac Group appoints Britta Weber as new CEO

Chiasso, 18 February 2026 – The Hupac Group announces the appointment of Britta Weber (42) as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The current Vice President UPS Healthcare for Europe and Asia will join the Hupac Group on 1 July 2026. She succeeds Michail Stahlhut, whose resignation has already been announced.

In the company's nearly 60-year history, Britta Weber will be the fourth CEO of the Hupac Group – and the first woman at the helm of the company. With her appointment, the Group gains an internationally experienced leader with proven expertise in logistics, supply chain management and organisational development. The top manager has already lived and worked successfully in all of the Hupac Group's main markets.

With this decision, the Board of Directors is laying the foundations for the next phase of the Group's development. The focus is on the further strategic development of combined transport, the expansion of sustainable transport solutions and the strengthening of the Hupac market position as a leading provider of intermodal land transport in Europe.

«I am delighted to welcome Britta Weber to her new role. She has over twenty years of international experience in the logistics industry: she combines a clear strategic vision with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of our customers' needs», says Hans-Jörg Bertschi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Hupac.

Britta Weber adds: «It is a great honour for me to become part of the Hupac Group. Hupac stands for much more than a successful company; it has a clear social mission: sustainable logistics and the consistent shift of transport to rail. I am particularly looking forward to working with the strong management team, whom I hold in high regard for their achievements. With great motivation and enthusiasm, we will successfully shape the next phase of the Group's development together».

During the transition phase, operational management will be ensured by the two deputies to the CEO, Benedetta Masciari and Alessandro Valenti, as well as by Bernhard Kunz, Delegated of the Board of Directors.
