Scandinavia

Chiasso/Göteborg  29.11.2011    The Swiss Hupac and the Swedish Intercontainer Scandinavia join their forces to offer a powerful intermodal network between Sweden and Italy.

Hupac Intermodal SA and Intercontainer Scandinavia AB will be starting cooperation as from 11.12.2011 with the aim to offer a one-stop-shop intermodal network between Sweden and Italy. Connection point of both networks is the Malmö CT terminal.

Intercontainer Scandinavia AB has been appointed agent on the Swedish market for Hupac. The Göteborg based intermodal operator will provide for booking service as well as commercial and operational assistance for all Swedish customers.

Rail-traffic between Malmö CT and the domestic network will start on 11 December 2011. Initially there will be six departures per week and direction with overnight connections to the destinations that Intercontainer is running today:

From Malmö     to/from      Västerås
                                       Norrköping
